  • How many days can I stay at the Club during the year?
The number of nights varies according to the dates of stay and the type of house/bungalow. Larger houses, for example, will have a higher rate, as will festive dates, which will result in the credit being converted into a smaller number of nights. The reverse is also true - smaller houses or single suites result in a higher number of nights/year.
  • How do the credits work?
The member will receive an annual credit in financial value for exclusive use on accommodation, linked to the type of membership they choose (with the exception of the day-use membership, which does not include accommodation). This credit will be renewed annually and is valid for use or sale over the following 12 months. Whenever the member stays at the resort, the total value of the nights used will be deducted from the credit. The credit can be checked through the Reservations Center, where reservations and the sale of credits will also be made. As long as there are credits remaining, the member can make them available to their guests, even if they are not present during the stay.
  • Can I bring whoever I want to stay with me?
You can bring guests as long as you respect the maximum capacity of the accommodation, within your credit.
  • Is breakfast included when I make my reservation?
Breakfast is not included in your reservation and you have the option of having breakfast in the hotel restaurant, ordering it in your room (Room Service) or preparing it in your own home, as all the bungalows have a kitchen or pantry.
  • How long do the credits last?
The credits will be valid for one year, not cumulative for the following year and starting on January 1st of each year.
  • Can anyone make reservations in my name?
Members and their dependents can make reservations in their own names or for third parties. For the 2024 season, only full members can request reservations, via email, whatsapp or phone from the Reservations Center. 📞 e 📱: (21) 99383-1991 ✉️: reservas@carnaubawindhouse.com
  • May I not be able to book on the days I want?
Yes, but the chances are high the further in advance you book. The accommodation structure has been designed so that all members can use up all their credit during the 7-month wind season.
  • Will my credit be adjusted over the years?
The credit and room rates will be adjusted by the same index so that there is no loss of purchasing power and use of the credits over time.
  • What is the cancellation policy for reservations?
There will be a penalty charge for canceling a reservation, as follows: High season: (i) Up to 45 days before arrival, cancellation will be free of charge; (ii) between 45 and 30 days before arrival, 50% of the booking price will be charged; (iii) 30 days before arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Low season: (i) Up to 30 days before arrival, cancellation will be free of charge; (ii) between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival, 50% of the booking price will be charged; (iii) 15 days before arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Founding members of the first phase will be able to offer their credits for sale through Reservation Center from April 1, 2024. The credits will be offered for sale to the public as soon as they have been made available, i.e. the further in advance, the greater the chances of them being sold.

  • What is the fee charged by Central Reservations for marketing my credits?
The sale of credits via Central Reserves will incur an administration fee of 25% of the amount sold. Payment of the value of the credits marketed via the Central (minus the administration fee) will be made to the member by bank transfer at the end of the calendar year, and the payment of taxes related to this income is the responsibility of the selling member.
  • What is the monthly fee?
The estimated monthly fee for the first year of operation ranges from R$400 to R$2,400, depending on the type of title purchased, although these amounts are subject to subsequent adjustment, depending on the demands of the business.
  • What happens if I don't pay the monthly fee?
In the event of non-payment of the monthly fee, access to Wind House will be suspended until payment of the amounts due is regularized. If the default continues for 6 months, the Club may make the member's credits available for sale, with all the proceeds going to the Club.

Included in the monthly fee are: accommodation operating costs, such as cleaning, housekeeping and concierge services; use of the headquarters in general, with access to all amenities; and access to wind sports equipment (kite and wing) for members and dependents. Not included in the monthly fee are: lessons in any sports, including kite and other wind sports; breakfast, treatments and wellness activities carried out at the spa; tours and activities; Kite Trips and food and beverage consumption.
  • When does the monthly fee start to be charged?
The monthly fee will start to be charged when Carnaúba Wind House opens. The first group of founding members, who are already entitled to accommodation from July 2024, will start paying monthly fees from October 2024, which is when phase 1 of the club will be officially handed over.
  • Who can use the equipment included in the monthly fee?

Only members and their guests staying at Carnaúba Wind House will have access to the quiver of equipment included in the monthly fee.
  • Is there a guarantee that I will be able to use the equipment at any time of the year?
The Club guarantees members the use of equipment at any time of the year as long as they are staying, but only the specific type of equipment is not guaranteed.
  • Is the equipment included?
All the equipment needed for kite and wing foil sailing will be offered to members and their guests and is already included with the purchase of the title, such as kites, wings, boards, foils, trapezes and helmets and storage. The club will also provide lessons, supervision and the rental of other equipment at a separate cost.
  • Can I store my equipment at the Club?
If members have their own equipment and want to store it at the Club, there will be a storage room. However, the lockers closest to the beach are limited and will only be used by members who are staying during the period of use. During periods when they are not staying, members can use a designated space in another area, further away from the beach.

  • Can any member use the equipment? Do I need kiteboarding experience?
The use of kitesurfing / wingfoil equipment is exclusive to members who have an independent level of sailing, i.e. who know how to trim and transition, as well as knowing the self-rescue procedures. The level of sailing must be proven by certification or signing a form certifying a minimum IKO 3 level. Beginners are forbidden to use the equipment, whether for independent use, in lessons or under the supervision of professionals outside the Rancho do Kite team. The use of the equipment is the EXCLUSIVE right of the member and their direct dependents (spouses, children and stepchildren without age limitation and grandchildren up to 12 years old), and may not under any circumstances be used by third parties. After the opening of the club, the use of equipment is exclusively linked to accommodation (i.e. only members and guests staying with credit from the same member).
  • Is there a disclaimer I need to sign?
At all times when using the equipment, the member must sign the term of responsibility provided by Rancho do Kite. The client is aware of the risks of kitesurfing and wingfoiling and exempts Rancho do Kite and the Carnaúba Group from any responsibility, since they are independent practitioners of the sports mentioned. They are also responsible for taking out personal health insurance in the event of accidents. The member must check the equipment before use and take responsibility for any damage or loss, being subject to payment of the full value of the equipment (in which case the member may keep the damaged equipment) or the cost of repair.

The equipment must be returned to Rancho do Kite every day so that it can be cleaned and checked.
  • Are there any penalties for misuse of the equipment or non-compliance with the rules?
If it is proven that any of the rules of use have not been respected, the member is subject to losing the right of use for a period of up to 90 days.
